Editorial standards
We'd rather be right than first. Here's what every article, wiki page and rules page on Build Play Collect follows.
Checked before it's posted
- Every fact comes from a source we link, and we use the official one (the brand, the organizer, the rulebook) whenever it exists.
- Leaks and rumors are either left out or clearly marked Unconfirmed, with the source named.
- Rules and release pages show the date we last checked them.
Fair to everyone
- We describe products, teams and brands by what they are and what they do.
- When the community disagrees, we give each side's main point.
- Sponsored posts, affiliate links, review samples and giveaway partners are disclosed at the top of the article. Advertisers never change what we write.
Headlines that keep their promise
We want you curious enough to click, and glad you did. If a headline promises something, the article delivers it. No fake urgency, no rumors dressed up as news.
When we get it wrong
We fix it quickly and add a correction note at the bottom of the page saying what changed. We never quietly erase a mistake.
